The Cavern

Mystical cave in Surrey that bestows worthy visitors with their chosen rat companion.

• Stanley
  • He approaches a dimly lit mirror in the cave and sees himself staring back—but he is the rat. The mirror beckons for him to reach out, and when he does he pulls a rat from the heart of his reflection.
• Logan
  • He stumbles upon the nest of a loving rat family, but when the child rat scurries up the wall to get his rat family a wild-berry on the cave walls, he knocks a rock lose causing part of the wall to collapse on his family, instantly killing them.
• Jasmine
  • A tree of rats sprouts from the ground, grows a fruit, and it drops from a branch to give her a rat.
• Owen
  • A river floods the cave and rats start flying by in the water. When he catches one he's released.
• Timothy
  • He reaches into his pocket to find a rat tied to another rat, tied to another rat, ad infinitum. When he's pulled enough rats out, they form a bridge into the sky for a rat to slide down and land in his pocket.
