Wall of Wonder

2nd Level Conjuration

Casting Time: 1 Action
Range: 60 ft
Components: Somatic
Duration: Concentration, up to 4 minutes

An ember appears over the caster's heart, shooting forth blinding white beams of light—winding themselves into a translucent brick wall. This wall is made of up to 25 pale translucent bricks measuring 24 inches wide, 18 inches tall, and 18 inches deep. Its bricks can be organized into whatever shape or orientation the caster desires, but it must be able to stand on its own and must have every brick touching another one.

*Any sounds made directly into the wall become frozen in stasis for the spell's duration. When the spell ends, every sound made into the wall is released at once in whatever direction they were originally headed. The wall will release 1d4 thunder damage for every minute a creature spends shouting into the wall or making equivalent noise. If the caster so chooses, then they can steadily release the sounds caught within the wall at any other speed.

Physical objects and magical attacks are able to pass through the wall without difficulty, but thunder-based attacks are caught within the bricks' insides. Ability checks requiring sight are done at a disadvantage when trying to look through the bricks.
